The 35-year-old goalie practiced Friday. He has missed the past three games with an undisclosed injury sustained during the third period of a 5-3 win against the Calgary Flames on Oct. 19.
The Predators are 6-1-0 in their past seven games and have scored at least four goals in five of their past six games. They have beaten the Oilers 13 consecutive times, dating to Oct. 29, 2014.
Oilers goalie Mikko Koskinen will make his season debut. The Oilers are 4-1-1 in the past six games.
