HANIFIN ON THE PLAYOFF PUSH:

"We know the situation and we've been playing hard. Doing the right things and we've got to carry that over into tonight. It's a huge game tonight. They've been dealing with some injuries but they've been finding ways to have success and they work really hard and go out and compete, and make it a great game. It's good to be home and finish up these last two at home, go out there and try to have a good performance and win."

LINDHOLM ON BATTLING BACK:

"Tough first period and obviously the last two periods, we were dominating. Had a lot of chances to score some more goals and I think we could have put this game away earlier than what happened out there. ... Tough loss. Just got to re-group, go again on Monday and Wednesday, and anything could happen."

SUTTER ON TONIGHT'S GAME:

"We're taking it as our last road game. If we get in, then we're going to start on the road. We want to take the Winnipeg game into tonight's game."

MARKSTROM ON A HUGE WIN:

"I thought we did a great job coming into this building. It's never easy and we knew the game is a must-win for us. It's a big game for them, too, but... You can feel it. The crowd was into it. Great team effort and a great win."

SUTTER ON TANEV'S STATUS:

"He'll be a game-time (decision), but he's come a long way from not skating to going through a lot of testing and things like that. Basically, kind of his call now."

COLEMAN ON BELIEF IN THE ROOM:

"There's been times where maybe the belief has kind of wavered, whether it be in the room, media, wherever it is. I think it's maybe the strongest it's been all year right now. Guys are feeling confident in their games. It's still going to be hard work and it's still an uphill climb - it's not going to be easy to leapfrog a team in the standings at this time of the year and with this many games left - but I like where we're at and I like our group right now. As long as guys keep this preparation and buy-in, it's going to be a really exciting last couple weeks."

SUTTER'S THOUGHTS ON THE GAME:

"Exciting game. … I thought we were pretty resilient, quite honest. They scored on probably the only chance in the first period and scored right away in the second, on the powerplay. So, come back and make it close and then they score. And then we get a penalty shot and miss. There were a lot of things that could have taken you out of the game, right? It actually helped us in some ways.

HANIFIN ON THE PLAYOFF RACE:

"It's sticking with it. It's been a weird season, at times. We've never really gone on a big run or anything like that, but the opportunity is still there for us to do that and we've just got build off that last game against LA - that was a huge win for us and I thought we played the right way. We know what we're up against. We all know the situation in the room and it's kind of do-or-die now. But these are the games you want to be part of and every game is important, so it's fun."

SUTTER ON MATT CORONATO'S FIRST DAY WITH THE TEAM

"Just welcome him here. Hasn't been on the ice for.. since whenever his last game was. Friday? A little bit of an altitude adjustment I'd say for the next few days." 

ON FACING THE KINGS

"You know what, you just gotta know your opponent and then go from there. I think we've had, against the Kings, three high scoring games this year if you look at it. So we know what we're up against."

DARRYL SUTTER ON THE BUSY SCHEDULE 

"Just trying to trust … talking to leadership and captains and make sure you give them their time. The travel, yeah I think its gotten them a little bit. I think we've seen that both games on this trip we were on."

ON WHAT VEGAS BRINGS

"They have top four defenceman for sure those top four guys that's really good. The three centeman, they are a little bit different type of players but they would be number one or number two guys on every teams. You got that … remember how you win champions or divisions: goaltender, defence and centremen.
