SAY WHAT: 'EVERYONE'S DIALLED IN'

A rundown of what was discussed prior to Game 5

by RYAN DITTRICK @ryandittrick / CalgaryFlames.com

SAM BENNETT ON JOINING TOP LINE:

"I'm going to keep playing my game. I'm going to be physical, be battling hard in the corners and trying to create room for them. They're great players, they make so many plays happen. Just get them the puck and make some room. That's how we're going to have success."

SAY WHAT: 'WE KNOW WE CAN DO IT'

A rundown of what was discussed following the OT loss in Game 4

by RYAN DITTRICK @ryandittrick / CalgaryFlames.com

MIKAEL BACKLUND ON MISSED CHANCE IN OT:

"It's tough. I took a bad penalty and then I had a chance to redeem myself, and instead, they score in front of me again. It's going to be a long night - a tough night. … We have nothing to lose now. I don't think a lot of people think we can do it, but we know we can. We've faced a lot of adversity this year and if there's any group that I believe in and know they can do it, it's this group right here."

by RYAN DITTRICK @ryandittrick / CalgaryFlames.com

JUUSO VALIMAKI ON MAKING PLAYOFF DEBUT:

"I'm just pumped to get out there. Even during warmups, the music is loud and there's a lot of people. I live for that. Even when you're on the road and the fans aren't cheering for you, I like the energy. It will be a lot of fun tonight."

SAY WHAT: SHIFTING FOCUS

A rundown of what was discussed Tuesday at the team hotel in Denver

by RYAN DITTRICK @ryandittrick / CalgaryFlames.com

MARK GIORDANO ON GAME 3 LOSS:

"You always look at games after and you realize, when you think they're really good, they're not that good - and when they're really, really bad, they're not that bad. I know last night we gave up a ton of chances and a ton of shots, but it was because we were trying too hard. We were trying to erase that three-goal lead right away and were taking too many risks."

SAY WHAT - GAME 3 CHATTER

From a change on the blueline to the team's mindset, a look at what was discussed at the morning skate

by TORIE PETERSON @ToriePeterson / CalgaryFlames.com

RASMUS ANDERSSON ON PAIRING WITH GIORDANO:

"We've played together before and it's always fun. He's such a good player. You give the puck to him a little bit extra because he is who he is. You really enjoy it when you play with him."

ANDERSSON ON TEAM SPEED:

"Playing fast means that you try to get the puck up to the forwards as quick as possible, try to catch them on changes, just move the puck, join the rush, and be active, really. We have a lot of good skaters on our team and it starts with the back-end: if we play play fast, our forwards will get the puck in their hands and go to work."
