MONTREAL – Preliminary-round action resumed in Milan with Slovakia capturing a tight 3-2 win over Italy at the Rho Ice Hockey Arena on Friday.

Juraj Slafkovsky registered an assist to bring his totals to four points (2G, 2A) through two games at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games. Spending 18:25 on the ice, the 21-year-old Slovak also put up seven shots.
