At the beginning of the 2021-22 season, we made a commitment to take part in the reconciliation process by putting forward initiatives aimed at recognizing, honoring and supporting Indigenous peoples.

Once again this year, the Montreal Canadiens proudly celebrate Lunar New Year, a holiday rich in tradition and symbols of renewal, observed in several East Asian countries.

Each February, the Montreal Canadiens proudly celebrate Black History Month by honouring the rich heritage and impactful achievements of the Black community, both in hockey and in today’s society.

We truly believe that Hockey Is for Everyone. We also believe that everyone is welcome at the Bell Centre and should feel safe to be their authentic self, whether on the ice or in the stands, when coming to a game.

The Montreal Canadiens are proud to support the Hockey Fights Cancer program, founded by National Hockey League (NHL) and National Hockey League Players Association (NHLPA) in 1998.

Hockey Talks is a program that was inspired by Rick Rypien, former Canucks & Jets forward, who tragically lost his battle with mental health issues in 2011.
