Mobile tickets

The Montreal Canadiens are pleased to offer its fans the most convenient and secure way to manage their tickets.

Prior to the 2019-20 season, we have launched a new Canadiens mobile app (in partnership with Ticketmaster, our new ticketing partner) that allows our fans to navigate through team content, game day information and most importantly, manage their tickets through their smartphone.

Mobile ticketing is the safest, most convenient and flexible way to receive and manage tickets. Mobile tickets provide:

  • Quick and easy entry to the Bell Centre using your smartphone
  • A convenient way to manage, transfer, donate or sell your tickets using a mobile device
  • Reduced risk of lost, stolen, counterfeit or forgotten tickets
  • An easy way to go green by printing less paper


A mobile ticket is a ticket stored in the Canadiens app in a digital format and accessible via your smartphone. Mobile Ticketing is the safest, most convenient and flexible way to receive and manage tickets while increasing protection against fraud and lost or stolen tickets. Mobile Ticketing brings your event(s) into an account to help you manage your seats more conveniently while providing you additional distribution options.

  1. Physical tickets distributed by the Montreal Canadiens or Ticketmaster (restrictions apply)
  2. Mobile tickets displayed on a mobile device using the Canadiens mobile app or Ticketmaster's mobile app
  3. Mobile version of the Montreal Canadiens or Ticketmaster Website, or within a phone's Apple or Google Pay Wallet

Note: Print at home PDF ticket or screenshot do not constitute a valid ticket and will be denied entry into Bell Centre

You can always access your mobile tickets through your smartphone's web browser by logging into your Canadiens Account Manager or your Ticketmaster account.

No. Screenshots of tickets are not a valid method of entry. If you are the recipient of a screenshot, contact the source of the ticket and request for the valid ticket to be transferred to you.

You may visit the Bell Centre ticket office located at 1909 avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal or call 1 877-668-8269.

Bell Centre offers complimentary WIFI, within the venue, so a data plan is not required to scan your tickets. You may also preload your seats to your phone (Apple Wallet - iPhone; Google Pay - Android) prior to arriving at Bell Centre.

Yes. Once you select a game in your account, you can simply swipe left and right to view all your tickets for the game. This being, we recommend you transfer your tickets to your guest(s) prior to attending the game to avoid any issues.

The recommendation is that you transfer each individual attendee their ticket prior to attending the game. If not, you will have to wait for your guest(s). You can transfer any ticket up to one hour after the start of the game.

No. Your mobile tickets have the same barcode as the ones on your physical tickets. However, if you successfully transfer or sell a mobile ticket through your Canadiens Account Manager or via the app, the barcode changes and your original physical ticket will no longer be valid.

No. You cannot use PDFs tickets or a printed-out screenshot to enter the Bell Centre. Contact the source of the ticket and request the ticket to be transferred to you in a proper manner. To avoid these situations, we recommend to only by your tickets on or

The most convenient way to buy or transfer tickets is through your Canadiens Account Manager or the Canadiens app. However, you can still buy physical tickets at the Bell Centre ticket office (1909 avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal) or by phone with delivery (additional costs) via Ticketmaster at 1 855-310-2525.

No. You have separate accounts for anything bough through the Canadiens Account Manager (either through a Canadiens sales representative or online Account Manager) and Linking both accounts on the Canadiens app allows you to see and manage all your Canadiens tickets at the same place.


As long as the recipient has not accepted the tickets yet, you can cancel the transfer in your account. In the app, go to the ticket you want to recall and select "Cancel"

When you transfer tickets in Account Manager via your desktop, mobile browser or the Canadiens app, it does not sync with your phone's wallet. We suggest deleting the ticket from your wallet once it's been transferred successfully.

Note: Once a ticket has been transferred, a new barcode is generated, and all previous copies of that ticket are no longer valid for entry.

No. If you don't have a Canadiens Account Manager Account Manager, you'll be prompted to create one. Once you've accepted the tickets, we recommend downloading the official Canadiens mobile app to access your tickets and improve your in-game experience.

You may transfer / send a ticket up to one hour after the start of the game as long as the ticket has not been scanned in for entry


Because it is the only authorized ticket re-sale platform of the Montreal Canadiens. It guarantees a valid seat to the buyer. Also, sellers are guaranteed payment for seats sold, without having to collect payment or deliver the tickets to the buyer.

Only the Canadiens Fan to Fan Verified marketplace can guarantee 100% legitimate tickets, because the seats sold through Canadiens Fan to Fan Verified marketplace were first sold using the Canadiens ticketing systems. If you buy a ticket that is resold through a source other than Canadiens Fan to Fan Verified marketplace, you have no way of knowing whether the ticket you purchased is counterfeit or has been invalidated. However, with the official team resale platform, once you buy a ticket, we cancel the original barcode and assign you a new one, so you have the security of knowing with certainty that you have a verified ticket. Buyers simply select the seat(s) they want based on price and location, without having to bid against other buyers, without having to coordinate delivery from anonymous sellers, and without the gamble that the seats are illegitimate.

Don't be fooled by other website guarantees: there is a lot of fine print and exceptions in those guarantees. They do not have a way to fully validate the authenticity of the ticket.

If you want your ticket to be posted on the Canadiens website as a verified re-sale ticket, it has to be posted above season ticket price.

It's an easy process. Seller gets a refund cheque sent out by Ticketmaster - paid in the month following the transaction. For any question, you may call Ticketmaster at 1-800-720-6864.

Seller fees are 15%. For example, if the asked price is $50, the seller fees are $7.50 and the seller receives a cheque of $42.50.

Yes, you may edit or cancel a ticket post as long as the tickets haven't been bough yet. In the app or account manager, go to the ticket you want to edit/ cancel and select "Edit Posting" or "Cancel Posting"
