Price backed up Antti Niemi in the two games before that after going 1-3-1 with an .854 save percentage in his previous five starts. Montreal has won two of its past three games after losing three of the previous four. Goalie Jacob Markstrom is expected to start for Vancouver after Richard Bachman made his first start since April 9, 2017, in a 6-2 loss at the Minnesota Wild on Thursday. It was the fourth straight loss for the Canucks, who are coming off a 1-3-2 road trip.
