MINRecap

RAPID REACTION:Erik Gustafsson scored the game-winner in OT and Patrick Kane extended his point streak to 11 games as Chicago edged the Minnesota Wild 4-3 on Saturday for their fourth win in a row.
After Minnesota jumped ahead on the power play, Alex DeBrincat equalized for the Blackhawks with a quick wrister in the second period. His 26th goal of the season, DeBrincat's marker also gives him a five-game point streak dating back to Jan. 17. Erik Gustafsson would put the Blackhawks ahead later in the period with a blast from just inside the blue line, a lead Chicago would hold until midway through the third.
Mikko Koivu drew the Wild level before the Blackhawks got back on the power play late in the third period. Kane and Jonathan Toews combined for a goal that briefly put Chicago back in front, but a Minnesota tally from Victor Rask would keep the back-and-forth battle going into overtime. After a Wild delay of game penalty put the Blackhawks on the power play, Gustafsson's second goal of the night was the difference in the OT win.

Collin Delia impressed throughout the game, including a highlight reel stop on an Eric Staal breakaway to keep things scoreless early.

CHI@MIN: Delia denies Staal's breakaway chance

The Rancho Cucamonga, CA native racked up 28 saves on the night, his second win over Minnesota this season. Delia earned his first career win at the United Center with a 46-save performance against the Wild on Dec. 27.
The second line was the story of the night for Chicago, as Alex DeBrincat (1 G, 2 A), Dylan Strome (2 A) and Dominik Kahun (2 A) paced the Blackhawks on offense. With an average age of 21.6 years, the trio's inexperience wasn't a problem against the Wild.
PLAYER OF THE GAME:Erik Gustafsson's two goals on the night powered Chicago, as the Swedish defenseman added another chapter to his impressive 2018-19 season. Gustafsson leads Chicago blue liners in goals, assists and points this season.
STAT OF THE NIGHT:Patrick Kane extended his point streak to 11 games with an assist on Jonathan Toews' power play goal in the third period. The last time #88 failed to record a point on the road was on Nov. 23 in a 4-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.
TALKING POINTS:
"It's huge. It's that time of year where we can't let anything slip anymore. We put ourselves in a spot where it's time to go on a run. We can't really think of it in that sense, but we've got confidence. We went into the break playing and feeling well and we're coming out of the break with the same thing." - Jonathan Toews on the Blackhawks four-game winning streak
"Just great to have the win, even if I don't score a goal. We need the win right now...Cat and Kaner want the puck too and they're great goal scorers so just trying to feed them a little bit. But I heard it from the bench, screaming 'shoot the puck' so when I got the puck back from Cat I was just trying to hit the net." - Erik Gustafsson on his game-winning goal against Minnesota
WHAT'S NEXT:Chicago returns home for a couple of days before returning to the road to face Edmonton on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. CT. The game can be seen on WGN TV or heard on WGN 720.
