SWE 5, SVK 3:Sweden cruised past Slovakia 5-3 on Thursday to move to 2-0-0-0 in the preliminary round. Blackhawks defensive prospect Adam Boqvist finished the game with one assist and three shots and played a total of 19:33.
Sweden next plays Team USA on Saturday.

CAN 3, SUI 2:A pair of Blackhawks prospects traded goals in a 3-2 win for Canada.
Philipp Kurashev one-timed home a goal from the slot for Switzerland to tie the game at 1-1 in the second period, but MacKenzie Entwistle responded in similar fashion for Canada shortly after with his second goal of the tournament.

With his Swiss team trailing, Kurashev scored his second of the game at 18:11 of the third. He finished the game with two goals, both on the power play, and three shots. He was named Player of the Game for Switzerland.
Entwistle finished with one goal on three shots. Ian Mitchell played more than 15 minutes for Canada, registering no shots on goal from the back end.
Switzerland faces Denmark, while Canada plays the Czech Republic on Saturday.
FIN 5, KAZ 0: Henri Jokiharju picked up his first point of the tournament with an assist on Finland's fifth goal in the blowout win over Kazakhstan. The Finns peppered the Kazakhstan goaltender with 56 shots.
Jokiharju had the assist and four shots in the win.
The Finns next take on Slovakia this Saturday.
