During the 2017-18 season, the Sharks Foundation distributed nearly $1 million through its annual Giving Campaign. Distributed funds included $150,000 to Donorschoose.org to provide school supplies to local teachers and students in partnership with SAP, $100,000 to Vision to Learn to create a mobile Sharks-themed clinic which provided free eye exams and eyeglasses to 7,000 students in Santa Clara County and $45,000 to JW House in Santa Clara to install solar panels to ensure self-sustaining and fiscally responsible electricity.
Through its Goals for Kids program in partnership with the Koret Foundation, Taube Philanthropies, the Marcus & Millichap Foundation, SWENSON and The Sobrato Organization, the Sharks Foundation distributed $282,000 to the program's eight beneficiaries: Jewish Family Services of Silicon Valley, Loved Twice, Muscular Dystrophy Association, Ronald McDonald House Charities Bay Area, Students Rising Above, Victory Ranch, Via Services, Inc. and Youth Science Institute.
Through the 2019-20 Giving Campaign, 50/50 Raffle presented by Black Oak Casino Resort, Goals for Kids Program, and various projects and programs the Sharks Foundation will distribute an estimated $1.8 million to organizations assisting those in need.
