After their game on Tuesday against Carolina was postponed, the Predators will return to action tonight in Dallas for their first road trip of the season (at 7:30 p.m. CT).
Nashville's (2-1-0) game schedule was officially impacted by health and safety protocols this week, and they'll face an opponent who has had their share of postponements as well. Tonight's contest will be the Stars' (0-0-0) first game of 2021 after they had the start to their season delayed.
On Thursday, the Predators recalled forwards Michael McCarron and Philip Tomasino and defenseman Ben Harpur to the taxi squad from Chicago (AHL). They also assigned forward Cole Smith to Chicago (AHL) from the taxi squad. Forward Mikael Granlund has resumed skating with the Preds.
Update: Preds Head Coach John Hynes has confirmed Granlund will make his season debut tonight in Dallas alongside Matt Duchene and Luke Kunin. Hynes also added forward Rocco Grimaldi will come out of the lineup tonight, and forward Calle Jarnkrok is day-to-day.
