Nashville, Tenn. (April 26, 2021) - Tonight, the Nashville Predators will kick off Ford Military Salute Week as they host their first of two back-to-back Military Appreciation Games against the Florida Panthers at Bridgestone Arena. Ford Military Salute Week will feature military elements activated on the plaza, on the concourse, throughout the in-game presentation each night and on social media

Prior to both games, fans can interact with every branch of the U.S. Military on the Bridgestone Arena Plaza. From viewing military vehicles and participating in fitness challenges to enjoying the music of the Fort Campbell band, there will be plenty of activities for fans of all ages. Those in attendance will also have the opportunity to thank current military members and veterans for their service to our country. In lieu of the traditional pregame reception hosted for current and former service members in years past, a Predators player will Zoom with an honored military member prior to each game, as they have throughout the entire 2020-21 season.
During pregame warmups, players will wear specialized military jerseys that will be up for auction to benefit a variety of Military-focused organizations in the Middle Tennessee area. Some jerseys will be available tonight and the remaining jerseys will be available tomorrow. To bid, fans can text PREDS to 76278. The Nashville Predators Foundation empowered by SmileDirectClub will also have Military Mystery Pucks for purchase through the auction. For a $30 donation, fans can purchase a puck autographed by a Predators player.
This evening, the Ford Heroes of the Game, Color Guard and Military Salute honorees will all represent Middle Tennessee State University's military population, while tomorrow night's game will highlight Fort Campbell personnel. Additionally, the anthem singer at both games will be Cathy Mullins, a Gold Star mother whose son, Brandon Scott Mullins, made the ultimate sacrifice in 2011 while serving in Afghanistan.
In March 2020, the Nashville Predators launched Ford Military Salute Week by announcing their partnership with Middle Tennessee State University and the Charlie and Hazel Daniels Veterans and Military Family Center. Through this partnership, the Predators and the Daniels Center at MTSU came together to support the local population of military-connected students who struggle financially to reach their higher education and career goals. One year after the establishment of the General's Fund, MTSU student Keyann Reaves, a Jackson, Tennessee, native and military dependent, was recently announced as the first to receive support from the fund.
Predators fans, Bridgestone Arena patrons or anyone in the community who is interested in contributing to the General's Fund in honor of Ford Military Salute Week can text PREDS4MTVets to 41444 on their mobile phone. They can also visit the MTSU Foundation website at

On Friday, April 30, Ford Ice Center Bellevue will host two public skating sessions, one at 11:45 a.m. and one at 6:30 p.m., both of which will benefit the General's Fund. To register, visit

Throughout the year, the Nashville Predators also offer a variety of military-specific ticket and support programs. All men and women that serve in our armed services or as first responders can receive $20 off a Lower Bowl ticket or $10 off an Upper Bowl ticket by showing their military ID when purchasing single-game tickets for a Predators home game. The Predators Foundation and Sudden Service have also teamed up to benefit Folds of Honor, which provides scholarships to children and spouses of fallen and disabled service members. Sudden Service will donate $100 to Folds of Honor for every regular-season goal scored at home!
