Preds Help Nashville Families Give Thanks

As families all over Nashville sit down today to give thanks and enjoy a meal together, a few of those dinners will be a bit more bountiful, thanks in part to the work of a couple of Preds.
Along with Nashville Inner City Ministry, Nashville Predators defenseman Matt Irwin and forward Colton Sissons teamed up with the Preds Foundation on Tuesday afternoon to help deliver some Thanksgiving turkeys - complete with all the trimmings - to some local families in need.

"It's an opportunity to give back to the community that supports us, an opportunity to give turkeys to families that otherwise may not have a turkey for thanksgiving to share with their family," Irwin said. "Whether they had plans for Thanksgiving or not, the opportunity for us to come and share a moment with them is good for us and it's good for them. It's a feel-good moment for both parties."
