Less than one week away from the Predators hosting their first preseason game since 2019, the safest and fastest way to enter Bridgestone Arena has arrived.
The Arena has partnered with CLEAR Health Pass to provide easy proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test and offer fans the most efficient entry into events held at the venue, which will be in place for the first time on Sept. 29 when Harry Styles comes to town. On Oct. 2, the Predators will welcome the Tampa Bay Lightning for an exhibition matchup, and all fans are encouraged to utilize the CLEAR app to enter.
The partnership comes after Bridgestone Arena announced that all guests aged 12 and older will be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test administered by a healthcare professional within 72 hours prior to the event that includes their name and the date of the test to attend all Nashville Predators games or Arena events. Additional information on the Arena's protocols can be found

"We came to these protocols after consulting with industry professionals, our partners at Vanderbilt Health, the Metro Health Department as well, and as you've seen, many festivals have been doing this for a couple of weeks or months now, clubs around town, and it really is becoming the industry standard," Predators and Bridgestone Arena Executive Vice President of Entertainment and Venues David Kells said. "A negative COVID] test, or your vaccination card for entry into events, is becoming the industry standard, and we're happy to support that for the health and safety of all participants and guests coming to the arena."
The CLEAR Health Pass - Bridgestone Arena's preferred vaccine verification method - is a free mobile app that securely houses COVID-19 vaccination and test information. While fans may still bring a physical or digital copy of their vaccination card or proof of a negative test, all attendees ages 18 and older are encouraged to utilize the CLEAR Health Pass app to make entry into the venue as smooth as possible.
All Bridgestone Arena entrances, including the two main ones at the corner of Fifth Avenue and Broadway and Demonbreun Street, will accept the CLEAR Health Pass for venue access as long as the health and safety protocols remain in place.
Announced back on Sept. 13, the current Bridgestone Arena protocols are simply there to keep everyone - guests, athletes, artists and everyone else inside the building - safe and healthy. While the current policy is scheduled to remain in place through at least Nov. 15, evaluations will occur at the necessary junctures with the goal of eventually returning to a protocol-free experience.
"This isn't something we want to do forever," Kells said. "We do want this to end. We do want more vaccinations in the community, and for the cases to go down. So, we'll continue to monitor, we'll continue to consult with all the area health professionals and other industry and event producers to see when it is the right time to roll this back or extend it, but that's why we put the first rollout until Nov. 15, hoping this is a shorter run than we anticipated."
