Potential Preds: Forwards

The 2022 NHL Draft in Montreal is just days away. Back in person for the first time since 2019 after two virtual drafts held during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Predators will look to once again pick the best available players to bolster their system.
Nashville will pick 17th in the first round on Thursday, July 7. It is only the second time in franchise history the club has picked in that position, with the Preds last 17th pick being defenseman Dante Fabbro in 2016.

Four out of Nashville's last five first round picks have been forwards - with goaltender Iaroslav Askarov the exception - and that trend could continue on Thursday evening.

The 2022 NHL Draft will be held at Bell Centre in Montreal. The first round is July 7 (6 p.m. CT; ESPN, ESPN+, SN, TVAS) and rounds 2-7 are July 8 (10 a.m. CT; NHLN, ESPN+, SN, TVAS).
