Nashville, Tenn. (January 13, 2021) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the team has assigned forwards Patrick Harper, Tanner Jeannot, Sean Malone, Michael McCarron, Tommy Novak, Rem Pitlick, Anthony Richard, Philip Tomasino and Josh Wilkins; defensemen Jeremy Davies, Ben Harpur and Tyler Lewington; and goaltender Kasimir Kaskisuo to Chicago (AHL).
Additionally, the team has placed forwards Mathieu Olivier, Cole Smith and Eeli Tolvanen; defenseman Alexandre Carrier; and goaltender Connor Ingram on its taxi squad. Defenseman Yannick Weber has been released from his Professional Try-Out and forward Mikael Granlund and defenseman Luca Sbisa have been designated as non-roster players. Taxi squad players may be added and removed from the active roster on a daily basis, as long as teams do not exceed the 23-man limit.

Nashville's 21-player opening night roster consists of 12 forwards, seven defensemen and two goaltenders.

The Predators begin the 2020-21 season - their 23rd as a National Hockey League franchise - at home against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday at 7 p.m. CT. Nashville begins the season with four straight contests at Bridgestone Arena, a homestand that includes another game against Columbus (Saturday) and a back-to-back vs. Carolina on Monday and Tuesday. Thursday's season-opening will be broadcast live on FOX Sports Tennessee; 102.5 The Game and the Predators Radio Network will carry all 56 regular-season games live.
