Nashville, Tenn. (October 2, 2018) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has assigned forward Rocco Grimaldi to Milwaukee (AHL). Additionally, forward Ryan Hartman has been placed on injured reserve and forward Austin Watson (suspension) has been designated non-roster.

The Predators begin the 2018-19 season - their 21st as a National Hockey League franchise - at the New York Rangers on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. CT. Nashville completes its two-game road trip to start the season on Saturday at 6 p.m. CT at the Barclays Center against the New York Islanders. The team will then return to Bridgestone Arena to host the Calgary Flames and raise their Presidents' Trophy and Central Division title banners in the home regular-season opener on Tuesday, Oct. 9 at 7 p.m. CT. Thursday's season opener will be broadcast live on the NBC Sports Network while Saturday's contest against the Islanders can be seen on FOX Sports Tennessee; all three games will be carried live on 102.5 The Game.

It's a banner week in Smashville as the Predators kick off their 2018-19 home schedule with a four-game stand at Bridgestone Arena beginning Oct. 9 against the Flames.
