After falling in Vancouver on Thursday night, the Nashville Predators are looking to close out their two-game trip with a win over the Flames tonight in Calgary. It's the third and final meeting of the season between the two clubs; Nashville dropped a 3-0 decision to the Flames in their home opener before winning 5-3 in Calgary on Oct. 19.
The Predators made things competitive in the final period on Monday night in Vancouver, but a sluggish start allowed the Canucks to jump out to a 4-1 lead after 40 minutes, a deficit Nashville was unable to overcome.
"We pushed back in the second half of the game, but it was too late," Preds Head Coach Peter Laviolette said. "The start wasn't good, and it ended up costing us the game."
