GnashVegas Hits the Jackpot

On Sunday night, Bridgestone Arena played host to one of the most dazzling events of the year: the seventh annual GnashVegas Casino Night & Auction, presented by King Jewelers.
With the help of all those in attendance, GnashVegas raised $200,000 - a whopping $50,000 more than the previous year - with all proceeds benefiting the Nashville Predators Foundation.
For the evening, the arena floor was converted into a lively casino, complete with poker stations, craps tables, line dancing, food, drinks and music. The event also featured a silent auction, which included rare hockey items, such as signed jerseys from teams around the League, as well as one-of-a-kind trips, ticket packages and experiences.

While the gaming tables certainly helped create a Las Vegas atmosphere, there were flairs to the event that were unmistakably Nashville.
A mechanical bull was present, so those attending could try their hand at bull riding while surrounding spectators cheered. Riders garnered attention from around the event as well, since they were also featured on the arena's megatron during their time on the bull.
Numerous local restaurants, hotels and bars had stations in various places around the event floor, providing samples of Nashville's famous foods. Guests were invited to try a few of the city's delicious cuisines like hot chicken and waffles, short ribs and even sushi, while mingling with Predators players, broadcasters and personnel.

Staying true to the "Boots and Bling" themed attire, Preds players arrived to the event in style, sporting a GnashVegas jersey, jeans, a shiny Predators belt buckle and of course, a cowboy hat and personalized boots.
The evening was memorable for all in attendance, and the record-breaking proceeds will help the Foundation continue working with local community programs and initiatives.
The Predators are now looking forward to the 2017 Wine Festival and Tasting, taking place on March 31 at Bridgestone Arena. The event will feature more than 250 wines and a variety of cuisine, as well as a silent auction. To learn more, visit
