EDMONTON, AB -The Edmonton Oilers have signed forward Lane Pederson to a two-year, one-way contract with average annual value (AAV) of $775,000.

Pederson is a 25-year-old, right-shot centre who has appeared in 71 NHL games across four seasons with the Arizona Coyotes, San Jose Sharks, Vancouver Canucks and Columbus Blue Jackets. The 6-foot-0, 192 pound forward has recorded 11 points (4G, 7A) in the NHL and 166 points (84G, 82A) in 227 games in the American Hockey League.

The Saskatoon, SK native originally signed with the Arizona Coyotes as an undrafted free agent in 2016 after playing his junior hockey in the Western Hockey league with the Swift Current Broncos, Red Deer Rebels and Seattle Thunderbirds.
