EDMONTON, AB - Oilers forward Leon Draisaitl has been selected as the NHL's First Star of the Month for November after scoring 27 points in 13 games.
Draisaitl paced the NHL in goals (15), points (27), power-play goals (8), power-play points (11) and game-winning goals (4) across 13 appearances to propel the Oilers (15-5-0, 30 points) to a 9-4-0 November.
The 26-year-old found the scoresheet in 10 of his 13 outings, highlighted by nine multi-point performances. Six of those featured at least three points, including a run of three-straight games to open the month (Nov. 1-5: 5-5-10) as well as a four-point effort Nov. 24 at ARI (2-2-4).
