Milan Lucic began the year flanking sophomore sensation Connor McDavid, but following some line shuffling from Head Coach Todd McLellan, Pat Maroon has filled that spot for the last few games.
The result has been fairly positive for Edmonton. Maroon has three goals and an assist in his last four games. There have been moments where the top line has dominated the pace of play.

Lucic has played with Leon Draisaitl, with whom he's shown some chemistry with as well.
When it comes to comparing the two hulking yet offensively-gifted wingers and what they provide on the top line, McLellan had this to say:
"They're both big bodies, they both know where the net is, both of them have had success producing points," said McLellan. "Sometimes, it's just a matter of changing things up and there's not a lot of reading and reacting that's different between the two.
"I think Patty has a little more puck luck around the blue paint than Milan did. The great thing about it is we feel we have two guys that can go in that position. They're interchangeable. For the most part, Milan has found chemistry with Leon as well. They didn't have the greatest game in Pittsburgh but they'll be the first to tell you that. But over and above that, they've played pretty well together."
