EDMONTON, AB - Defenceman Adam Larsson has been placed on injured reserve, Oilers Head Coach Todd McLellan disclosed Friday.
"It shouldn't be long-term but obviously is at least a week," said McLellan.
McLellan expects Larsson to be ready to play Wednesday when the Philadelphia Flyers visit Rogers Place.
"It's an injury he woke up with," said McLellan. "It's not major, it's an upper-body thing and we're hoping by Wednesday when we play Philly here that he's good to go."
