The forward was acquired in a trade with the Anaheim Ducks for forward Devin Shore on Monday. Cogliano has 11 points (three goals, eight assists) in 46 games this season and has never missed a game because of injury in his 13 NHL seasons; he was suspended two games for a hit against Los Angeles Kings forward Adrian Kempe on Jan. 14, 2018.
The Stars have lost two straight after going 5-1-1 in their previous seven games.
