Simulation of NHL20 Playoffs Advances to Round 2; Preds Challenge Canucks

The Nashville Predators erased a 2-1 series deficit in Round 1 and advanced to Round 2 with three consecutive victories over the Golden Knights in the NHL20 Playoffs.
The Predators are using EA Sports' "NHL20" video game to simulate every playoff game and determine a virtual 2020 Stanley Cup Champion. Each Preds game is streamed live on

The Preds will head right back on the road again on Saturday night (at 8 p.m. CT) for Game 1 presented by Nissan, as they challenge the Vancouver Canucks in Round 2. The Canucks eliminated the Edmonton Oilers in five games in Round 1.

Other notable Round 1 series results include the St. Louis Blues rallying from a 3-1 series deficit to top the Calgary Flames. In the Eastern Conference, three different powerhouses were eliminated, as the Boston Bruins, Tampa Bay Lightning and Pittsburgh Penguins were all knocked out in the opening round.
