LINE CHANGES

-- After starting the season with one goal in 29 games, Pittsburgh Penguins forward Bryan Rust (LW/RW, 2 percent owned) has five points (four goals, one assist) and 15 shots on goal in the past three games, including a shorthanded assist against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday. Rust has recently been moved to a line with elite center Sidney Crosby and left wing Jake Guentzel, boosting Rust's fantasy upside for the rest of the season. With continued exposure to Crosby, Rust carries DFS value and is a streaming option in deeper leagues.
--New York Rangers right wing Pavel Buchnevich (8 percent owned) returned to the lineup Friday after missing 13 games with a broken thumb. He skated on a line with left wing Chris Kreider and center Kevin Hayes, which has become New York's most impactful line. Buchnevich has points in each of his first two games back, giving him 11 points (six goals, five assists) in 16 games. Hayes (18 percent owned) has four straight multipoint games, totaling three goals and six assists. Hayes, a potential 2019 unrestricted free agent, and Buchnevich are worth adding in deeper leagues, and their line could join the rankings as early as next week.
-- The Florida Panthersrecalled center prospect Henrik Borgstrom from Springfield of the American Hockey League on Saturday. The 21-year-old centered the second line with wings Evgenii Dadonov and Frank Vatrano and played 12:18 against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday. Borgstrom, who saw 1:18 on the second power-play unit with valuable defenseman Aaron Ekblad, didn't have a point in his season debut but should be monitored closely in deep and/or keeper leagues after scoring 22 points (five goals, 17 assists) in 24 AHL games.

PRODUCTION TRENDS

-- Carolina Hurricanes forward Jordan Martinook (LW/RW, 3 percent owned) has been elevated to the first line with center Sebastian Aho and right wing Teuvo Teravainen in place of injured forward Micheal Ferland (upper body). Martinook has eight goals in 31 games entering Sunday and is approaching his NHL career high of 11 in 77 games with Arizona Coyotes in 2016-17. Playing with Aho and Teravainen over the past two games, Martinook has one goal, seven shots on goal and seven hits. Aho, meanwhile, has bounced back with eight points (five goals, three assists) during a five-game point streak.
-- Nashville Predators forward Colton Sissons (C/LW, 16 percent owned) has seen a recent spike in production with six points (three goals, three assists) in the past five games, including an overtime goal against the Vancouver Canucks on Thursday. Sissons also is seeing increased usage, playing at least 19:00 per game, 3:00 on the power play, in each of the past two games (season average: 16:27). With Nashville's first line depleted by injuries to valuable forwards Filip Forsberg and Viktor Arvidsson, the Predators are relying on their depth unit of Sissons, center Nick Bonino and right wing Austin Watson.
