DraftKings picks for Monday
CENTER
Value pick: Ryan Strome, EDM ($3,200 vs. TBL):The Edmonton Oilers center has three assists, five shots on goal and one block in his past two games for an average of 4.5 DraftKings points per game. His placement on Edmonton's top power-play unit gives him exposure to high-end forwards Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. DFS owners shouldn't go too heavy on the Oilers, but Strome could be a diamond in the rough against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Monday (9 p.m. ET; SNW, SUN, NHL.TV) considering Edmonton is tied for third in the League with 34.2 shots per game.
Spend up for: Steven Stamkos, TBL ($7,200 at EDM)
WING
Value pick: Mattias Janmark, DAL ($4,100 vs. NYR):The Dallas Stars wing has a goal in two straight games for an average of 4.0 DraftKings points per game. He has skated lately on the Stars second line with Jason Spezza and Devin Shore and the second power-play unit with Spezza, Brett Ritchie, John Klingberg and Esa Lindell. Janmark has a good matchup against the Rangers (8:30 p.m. ET; NHLN-US, FS-SW+, MSG, NHL.TV), who are allowing the third-most shots per game (33.7).
Spend up for: Viktor Arvidsson, NSH ($6,400 at NYI)
DEFENSE
Value pick: Mikhail Sergachev, TBL ($4,000 at EDM): The Tampa Bay Lightning rookie has struggled lately with no goals, three assists and a minus-7 in his past 10 games. This has subsequently lowered Sergachev's DraftKings price. His body of work (28 points in 50 games) makes him an attractive buy-low candidate against the Oilers, who have allowed the fifth-most goals per game (3.2).
Spend up for: Ryan Ellis, NSH ($4,900 at NYI)
GOALTENDER
Pick: Frederik Andersen, TOR ($7,900 vs. ANA):The Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender is 2-1-0 with a .946 save percentage over his past three games for an average of 6.9 DraftKings points per game. The Leafs allow the third-most shots per game (33.4) making Andersen an all-in play against the Anaheim Ducks (7 p.m. ET; TSN4, PRIME, NHL.TV), his former team.

Bishop will return for Stars on Monday after injury scare

Dallas Stars goalie Ben Bishop will start against the New York Rangers on Monday (8:30 p.m. ET; NHLN, FS-SW+, MSG). He missed the past two games after taking a puck to the face on the bench Jan. 30.
Bishop (91 percent owned) is 21-14-3 and is ninth in the NHL (among goalies with at least eight starts) with a 2.22 goals-against average since Jan. 1. Bishop is 9-2-0 with a 2.03 GAA and .927 save percentage in 11 starts against the Rangers.
Backup goaltender Kari Lehtonen (12 percent) played well in place of Bishop, allowing one goal in each start against the Arizona Coyotes and Minnesota Wild. Lehtonen has nine wins and a 2.22 GAA in 17 games (14 starts).

Beauvillier, Pulock of Islanders worth adding in many formats

Forward Anthony Beauvillier and defenseman Ryan Pulock continued their strong play in the New York Islanders' 4-3 win against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday.
Beauvillier (C/LW, 24 percent) had one assist and one SOG, and has been skating in the Islanders' top-six forward rotation and on the second power-play unit. He has 11 points (eight goals, three assists) and 30 SOG in his past 11 games. Beauvillier skated on the Islanders first line with all-stars John Tavares (22nd in Yahoo) and Josh Bailey (T-4th with 43 assists) on Saturday.
Pulock (4 percent owned) had two assists and four SOG against Columbus. He has eight points (goal, seven assists) and 17 SOG in his past six games. Pulock has added value in leagues that count blocked shots (44 in 39 games) and/or hits (68). He is settling into a role on New York's second pair and power-play unit.
Beauvillier and Pulock are sleeper candidates for the stretch run with the Islanders ranking third in the League with 3.3 goals per game. From a DFS standpoint, Beauvillier (W, $4,900 in DraftKings) and Pulock (D, $4,400) are value plays against the Nashville Predators on Monday (7 p.m. ET; TVAS, SN, MSG+, FS-TN, NHL.TV). Each had a multipoint game at Nashville on Oct. 28.

Konecny, Patrick finding scoring touch for Flyers

Forwards Travis Konecny and Nolan Patrick had big games in the Philadelphia Flyers' 4-3 shootout loss to the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.
Konecny (C/LW/RW, 38 percent owned) had three assists and two shots on goal and has become a must-own asset since his promotion to the first line with Claude Giroux (25th in Yahoo) and Sean Couturier (29th). Konecny has points in seven of his past eight games and 13 points (seven goals, six assists) and 38 SOG in his past 13.
Patrick (C, 7 percent) scored his fifth goal and had five SOG against the Senators. He has three points (two goals, assist) and seven SOG in his past three games centering the Flyers second line between Jakub Voracek (T-3rd in NHL scoring with 61 points) and Wayne Simmonds (32 points in 52 games).
The Flyers have four games this week, tied for most in the League, and favorable matchups against the Carolina Hurricanes, Montreal Canadiens and Arizona Coyotes, making Konecny and Patrick viable options in season-long and DraftKings DFS formats.
