The Oilers are 1-0-1 in the first two games of a three-game road trip, having earned points in each of their first two games since Ken Hitchcock took over as coach after Todd McLellan was fired Tuesday.
The Kings lost 4-2 to the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday, their fifth consecutive home loss in regulation. Los Angeles has been outscored 20-7 in that span.
Cal Petersen, who made 25 saves against the Canucks, will start against the Oilers.
