LOS ANGELES --The Los Angeles Kings can take a commanding lead in the Western Conference First Round against the Edmonton Oilers with a victory in Game 4 at Crypto.com Arena on Sunday.
Kings forward Kevin Fiala, who took part in morning skate, could return after missing the final six games of the regular season and the first three of the best-of-7 series with a lower-body injury.
"I've got to see what the training staff says here after the morning skate, but he's getting closer to playing," Los Angeles coach Todd McLellan said Sunday.
The Kings defeated the Oilers 3-2 in overtime of Game 3 on Friday on a power-play goal from Trevor Moore. Los Angeles has battled from behind in all three games, including for a 4-3 overtime win in Game 1.
"We've done a lot of good things in this series through three games," Oilers coach Jay Woodcroft said. "We're going to look to expand on that tonight."

Connor McDavid scored his first two goals of the series in Game 3. He won the Art Ross and Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy with 153 points and 64 goals.
"He's so shifty, so you can expect anything from him," Kings center Phillip Danault said. "You can't bite too much, can't push him off the wall either, so he's a very special player, the best player in the world. You got to be always prepared against him."
Here are 3 keys for Game 4:

1. Fiala's impact

If Fiala can play, it would give the Kings another offensive weapon. His 72 points (23 goals, 49 assists) were second behind captain Anze Kopitar's 74 (28 goals, 46 assists).
Fiala practiced in a non-contact jersey Saturday. He scored seven power-play goals this season, and the Kings are 4-for-15 on the man-advantage in the series.
"So far, special teams have been a factor," Kings defenseman Mikey Anderson said. "So, I'm sure both sides are going to be talking about it, trying to take less penalties, keep the other power play off the ice, and try to win it 5-on-5."

2. Better discipline

The Oilers were assessed seven penalties in Game 4, including four after the whistle. The Kings scored two power-play goals, including the tying goal 18 seconds after McDavid gave Edmonton the lead in the second period. That came after Leon Draisaitl was called for an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for slashing Kings defenseman Drew Doughty on his way to celebrate McDavid's goal.
"It's hard sometimes," Oilers forward Nick Bjugstad said. "Every guy is competitive and everyone in the League is competitive, and stuff will happen after the whistle. We've taken note. Obviously, it hasn't gone in our favor the way we've been taking penalties. I don't think there is much to be said other than controlling the emotions and bringing our effort tonight."

3. Korpisalo factor

Kings goalie Joonas Korpisalo is having a strong series. He was outstanding in the third period of Game 3, finishing with 17 saves and 38 for the game.
"He's been huge," Anderson said. "When we've needed saves, he's given it to us, very timely. Obviously, they've got some very, very high talented players, so they're going to get some chances as the series and games go on here, so we need him to keep doing what he's doing."
