Chicago scored four straight goals in the third period to defeat the Kings 5-3 in Los Angeles Saturday. The Blackhawks are 4-10-1 in their past 15 games and trail the Ducks by 12 points for the second wild card into the playoffs heading into their only visit to Honda Center, where the Anaheim is 9-1-2 since Dec. 29.

Players to watch

Blackhawks rookie forward Alex DeBrincat has five points (three goals, two assists) in two games against Anaheim this season, including his first NHL hat trick in a 7-3 win on Nov. 27.

Ducks goaltender John Gibson has allowed two goals or fewer in his past eight starts, including a 3-2 win against Chicago on Feb. 15. He has a 1.56 goals-against average and .951 save percentage since the All-Star break.
