The Boston Bruins will try to extend their season-high winning streak to five games, which has coincided Bruce Cassidy taking over as coach on Feb. 7. Boston hasn't won five straight sicne Nov. 19-27, 2015. Cassidy moved Ryan Spooner to center with wings Frank Vatrano and Jimmy Hayes in his first game behind the bench, and the line has since combined for three goals and six assists. "Anchoring that line, using his speed in the middle of the ice, I think is an advantage for [Spooner] versus the wing, so we're going to allow him to do that as long as his game doesn't slip," Cassidy said. Boston defensemen have also become more active in the offensive zone under Cassidy. The defense scored four of the 16 goals in the past four games. "I think we have better pace and we're harder to play against in terms of us coming at teams and putting them on their heels," Cassidy said. "Obviously, it's a challenge to do it for a full 60 minutes, but I think we want to be known as a team that has that solid defensive fabric that's been woven into this group for years, and now we want to add some dynamic offense with the D joining the rush."
