MYSTERY LINEUP TONIGHT
The Jets morning skate at Canada Life Centre was short a couple of bodies in Morgan Barron and Jansen Harkins. Rick Bowness did say a few of his players including Pierre-Luc Dubois were dealing with an illness Tuesday night against Vegas. Karson Kuhlman, who was claimed off waivers from Seattle the other day, was on the ice with his new teammates. Kuhlman skated with Adam Lowry and Axel Jonsson-Fjallby on the third line, but Bowness cautioned against the thought he was making his Jets debut against Nashville.
"We won't know our lineup until tonight," said Bowness.
"We have a couple of game-time decisions."
Bowness also added that if Kuhlman doesn't play tonight, he will play sometime this weekend during the Jets trip to Vancouver and Seattle.

STENLUND SOLID
Kevin Stenlund's Jets debut on Tuesday, went very well as he chipped in with an assist, his first point in the NHL since March 25, 2021, when he was with the Columbus Blue Jackets. Stenlund centred the fourth line and won 57 per cent of his faceoffs, one of the reasons he was recalled from the Manitoba Moose. The fact that he's a big body and is a solid penalty killer are two added bonuses and if he keeps up his consistent play, it's likely that he will remain with the Jets for a while.
HEAVY GAME TONIGHT
Nashville has a lot of talent on their top line with Filip Forsberg, Mikael Granlund, and Matt Duchene but the rest of their forward group is of the heavy forechecking variety. Jets and Predators games traditionally are high event games, this one should have a lot of offence and hitting.
"They've got big guys. They're physical. They don't get looked off, they're coming right through you," said Bowness of the Predators.
"We've got to get back and we've got to move that puck quickly and not hang onto it. Because if you hang onto it, you're going to pay the price."
