WINNIPEG, Aug. 10, 2026 - From can’t-miss theme nights and new giveaways to cultural celebrations and community initiatives, there’s something for every fan and a host of new and memorable experiences to complement the excitement of live NHL hockey as part of the 2026-27 Winnipeg Jets season. Unveiled today, the team’s 2026-27 promo schedule is highlighted by a new cultural heritage game, a record number of giveaway games and a new specialty ticketing offer that includes exclusive Jets souvenirs. Lunar New Year Night added to Jets cultural heritage series
Lunar New Year Night will debut Wednesday, Feb. 17 when the Jets face the Los Angeles Kings. One of the most widely recognized festivals, Lunar New Year is celebrated by 2 billion people across the globe and will mark the beginning of the Year of the Goat in 2027. Lunar New Year Night joins Filipino Heritage Night (Nov. 8), Ukrainian Heritage Night (Jan. 9), South Asian Heritage Game (Jan. 24), WASAC Night (Feb. 21) and Black History Night (March 1), in showcasing cultural cuisine, music and dance.
Theme nights, dress-up ops and giveaways
Fan-favourite theme nights return, and new giveaways launch this season, starting with a Jets Retro Goalie Mask giveaway for the first 7,000 fans at the Home Opener (Oct. 2). Fans will have several opportunities to level up their gameday fits, beginning with the Halloween Game (Oct. 27), as well as collect limited-edition Jets merch, such as a Jets 90s Denim Dad Hat for the first 5,000 fans at 90s Night (Nov. 10) and a Jets Fuzzy Bucket Hat for the first 5,000 fans at Après Ski Night (Jan. 2). Fans are encouraged to wear their best plaid at the Hoser Game (March 13) and shine their boots for Country Night (March 20), with the first 5,000 fans at each game getting a Jets Hoser Hat or Jets Cowboy Hat, respectively. The annual Fan Appreciation game (April 9) will wrap up the regular season with exciting giveaways and discounts. Bonus giveaway games will be featured throughout the season offering limited-edition Jets merch and collectibles, including a Beer Boot Cup (Nov. 17), a Collector Cup (Nov. 23) and Jets Mittens (Jan. 7).
New Jets Specialty Tickets offer more exclusive memorabilia
Even more unique Jets merch and collectibles will be available to fans who purchase new Jets Specialty Tickets. Unlike traditional giveaway nights or promo games, these limited-edition collectibles will only be available to fans who have purchased a Specialty Ticket. Specialty Tickets will be available in limited quantities for select games throughout the season, with the associated Jets souvenirs available for pick up at the selected game. The first Specialty Ticket night on Oct. 7 will offer fans an exclusive Jets Baseball Jersey, with more exciting limited-edition items offered throughout the season, including a Jets Run Club Hat, a Mark Scheifele Bobblehead and a Jets Halloween Trick-or-Treat Pillowcase. Supporting the community
The Jets invite fans to join them in rallying for causes that matter at dedicated community nights throughout the season. Championed by initiative ambassador Adam Lowry, Child Advocacy Game (Oct. 17) will raise awareness for children and families affected by child abuse, Pride Night (Nov. 19) will highlight organizations making a difference in Winnipeg’s 2SLGBTQ+ community and the 14th annual Hockey Fights Cancer game (Nov. 30) and month-long campaign will raise funds for CancerCare Manitoba Foundation. The Jets will host military members and their families at Canadian Armed Forces Night (Dec. 8), mental health-centered organizations will share resources throughout January and at the Hockey Talks game (Jan. 16) and women making a difference in sport will be recognized at the Celebrating Women in Sport game (March 7). Alongside initiative ambassador Kyle Connor, the Jets will raise funds for U-Turn Parkinson’s and the Movement Disorder Clinic at Parkinson’s Awareness Night (April 7), with the opportunity for fans to extend their support of this initiative at U-Turn Parkinson’s third annual Team 81 Ride Aug. 29 at Assiniboine Park. Winnipeg Jets Members will be celebrated at the Season Ticket Membership Appreciation Game (Dec. 20), which will be full of giveaways and Member perks and surprises, as well as the chance to win the jerseys off players’ backs post-game. 2026 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic
The NHL’s signature outdoor showcase returns to Winnipeg with the Jets hosting the Montreal Canadiens for the 2026 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic at Princess Auto Stadium Sunday, Oct. 25. Jets and Canadiens alumni will also face off Saturday, Oct. 24 in the 2026 Alumni Game at Canada Life Centre. This can’t-miss throwback matchup marks the first Heritage Alumni Game featuring Jets 2.0 players, including Dustin Byfuglien, the famed GST line – Tanner Glass, Jim Slater and Chris Thorburn – former captains Andrew Ladd and Blake Wheeler and many more fan-favourites. General on-sale for single game tickets begins Tuesday, Aug. 11 at noon at winnipegjets.com/tickets.
