The National Hockey League (NHL) has named Ducks center Mason McTavish the Second Star as part of the NHL’s “Three Stars” for the week ending Jan. 26.

McTavish scored five goals in three games last week, tops among all NHL players, including a pair of multi-goal performances that helped Anaheim to home-ice victories over Pittsburgh and Nashville.

Mason McTavish notches his second straight multi-goal game

McTavish became the first Duck with back-to-back multigoal games since teammate Trevor Zegras in Nov. 2021. The 21-year-old McTavish, the third overall pick from the 2021 NHL Draft, sits fourth on the Ducks with 11-13=24 points through 43 total contests this season.
