In partnership with the Chicago Blackhawks, the Professional Women's Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) makes a stop on its 2021 Secret® Dream Gap Tour in Chicago this weekend. Supported locally by AT&T, the first game of the Chicago showcase will be played March 6 at 2 p.m. CT at the United Center, followed by a game on March 7 at 10:30 a.m. CT at Fifth Third Arena.

Comprised of approximately 125 of the world's best hockey players, the PWHPA was formed to advocate for and advance equity, fairness and opportunity in women's professional hockey. Specifically, the group's goal is to create a sustainable league that pays a living wage to players, provides appropriate elite-level resources and invests in marketing that showcases the players and game.
NBC Sports and On Her Turf will present the PWHPA 2021 Secret® Dream Gap Tour live from the United Center this Saturday at 2 p.m. CT on NBCSN. Fans can learn more about NBCSN's live coverage

The Blackhawks game on Friday, March 5 vs. the Tampa Bay Lighting will also help bring awareness and drive tune-in to the PWHPA's Chicago showcase. PWHPA hoodies, worn and autographed by select Blackhawks players will go up for auction on Friday, March 5 through Friday, March 12 at 12 p.m., with all proceeds going to the PWHPA in support of its mission. Throughout this season, the Chicago Blackhawks are featuring the team's biggest fans and other Chicago community members during the national anthem. This weekend's rendition for both Blackhawks and PWHPA games at the United Center will celebrate girls and women in hockey from youth program participants to professional players and members of the Blackhawks front office.
Chicago's own Kendall Coyne Schofield, a two-time Olympic medalist and the Blackhawks' first-ever female Player Development Coach, will take the ice as a PWHPA player in this weekend's games. Coyne also serves as a Youth Hockey Growth Specialist for the Blackhawks, helping to concept programs including all-girls Little Blackhawks, her namesake Golden Coynes, and CCM Get Girls in the Game clinics.
