The Blackhawks pushed their point streak to four games on Tuesday night, but fell in overtime for the second straight road game, this time 3-2 to the Predators in Nashville.
Dylan Strome and Mattias Janmark scored the goals on the night for the Blackhawks, while Malcolm Subban made 36 stops in the overtime defeat.

The Blackhawks power play remained red hot, needing just 47 seconds to strike on their opening look on Tuesday. Duncan Keith set Dominik Kubalik up for a one-time blast from his usual spot on the right dot, which Pekka Rinne turned aside, but Andrew Shaw quickly corralled the rebound and fed Dylan Strome in the slot for a 1-0 advantage.

2nd - 4:47 - Yakov Trenin (Mathieu Olivier)

Nashville tied it up early in the second after a neutral-zone turnover left Yakov Trenin in all alone on Malcolm Subban, where the second-year forward faked a shot and beat the Hawks netminder blocker-side to even things, 1-1.

2nd - 11:43 - Mattias Janmark

Mattias Janmark found twine in a third straight game for the Blackhawks just past the midway point of the game showcasing his two-way skill. The winger picked off a Nashville pass to the point in his defensive end, skated the length of the ice and tucked a shot under the arm of Rinne on a breakaway to regain the lead, 2-1.

3rd - 11:06 - Mikael Granlund (Nick Cousins, Mattias Ekholm)

For the second time on the night, the Predators tied things up in the third off a blue-line keep. After Mattias Ekholm kept the play alive, Nick Cousins found an open Mikael Granlund inside the circle, where the center put a quick shot on goal to level the game, 2-2.

OT - 1:57 - Roman Josi

After a scoreless final nine minutes of regulation, the Blackhawks went to OT for the second straight road game, pushing their unbeaten streak to four games in the process with a standings point. Roman Josi found the game-winner just under two minutes in, beating Subban across the crease with speed off a rush.
