The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have recalled forward Vinnie Hinostroza from the American Hockey League's Rockford IceHogs and assigned forward Tanner Kero to Rockford.
Hinostroza leads the IceHogs and shares 11th in the American Hockey League with 22 points (9G, 13A) in 23 games this season. The Bartlett, Illinois, native has six multi-point games with the IceHogs. He set a season high with three assists in Rockford's victory over Texas on Dec. 2. He logged a season-long six-game point streak where he tallied four goals and six assists from Oct. 14-25.
