Blackhawks activate Franson, place Anisimov on injured reserve

The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have activated defenseman Cody Franson from injured reserve and placed forward Artem Anisimov on injured reserve.
Franson recorded one goal and six assists in 19 games before being placed on injured reserve Dec. 13. In 546 career National Hockey League games, he has 212 points (43G, 169A).

A native of Yaroslavl, Russia, Anisimov is second on Chicago with 13 goals this season and has added five assists. His six game-winning goals share second in the league.
