Blue Ox to host second annual Minnesota Wild Night on Friday

The junior team co-owned by coach Bruce Boudreau will host its second annual Minnesota Wild Night this Friday, Oct. 5 at Coon Rapids Ice Arena.

The United States Premier Hockey League's Minnesota Blue Ox takes on the Hudson Havoc at 7 p.m. Wild forwards Joel Eriksson Ek, Eric Fehr and Luke Kunin will be on hand to sign autographs, and the night also includes Wild jersey and ticket giveaways and a visit from mascot Nordy.

Boudreau and his wife Crystal purchased a stake in the team last year. Boudreau's son, Brady, is a goaltender on the team and led a youth hockey school in Coon Rapids this past summer.
