Festivities for Sharks Pride Night begin Monday, March 13 at 7 p.m. when members of the San Jose Sharks front office staff face-off against members of the San Francisco Earthquakes (

) LGBTQ+ Adult Hockey Team in a friendly scrimmage at SAP Center. On hand to meet and greet players from both teams will be Sharks head coach David Quinn. Also on hand to watch the game will be board members from

The Sharks Pride Night celebration continues Saturday, March 18 with multiple activations taking place throughout the Sharks game:
• Fans will notice Pride-themed corporate partner dasher boards around the rink.
• Sharks players will have specially designed nameplates in their locker stalls and select players will use Pride Tape on their sticks. Nameplates and sticks will be auctioned during the Sharks Foundation's (

), June Pride monthly campaign with partial net proceeds benefiting a local LGBTQIA+ non-profit.
• During pregame warm-ups, Sharks players will wear jerseys with crest and patch artwork specific for Sharks Pride Night and designed by local artist Houyee Chow, a queer, biracial, multidisciplinary artist and educator from San Jose. The pregame warm-up jerseys, featuring a Pride crest and a Love Wins patch, will be available for fans to bid on after the game via a charitable auction with partial net proceeds benefitting Adolescent Counseling Services. The Sharks Foundation's March 18 50/50 Raffle presented by Black Oak Casino Resort will benefit Side By Side, whose mission is to walk with young people impacted by adversity toward a future with connection and meaning. Funding raised through the raffle will benefit LGBTQIA+ youth mental health and advocacy services through Side by Side's Our Space program.
At the Sharks Foundation's Booth on the concourse at Section 118, 2021-22 Pride-themed Mystery Pucks will be available for purchase for $25.
Additional activities will include Pride-themed lighting in the arena bowl and themed music throughout the night. The national anthem will be performed by Christina Lopez. Also, the Sharks center-hung video display will feature videos highlighting the Sharks engagement with LGBTQ+ organizations including SV Pride and the San Francisco Earthquakes.
Pride-themed Sharks merchandise specifically created for this night and featuring artwork created by Chow will be available for purchase in the Sharks Pro Shop located near the South Entrance at SAP Center.
Special food and beverage selections created specifically for Sharks Pride Night include specialty rainbow popcorn, Pride themed cocktails, and Pride souvenir cups.
