The Ottawa Senators hit the road for a one-game trip to New Jersey to visit the Devils.

The set-up
The Sens (6-15-1) have won two straight for the first time this season after they beat Colorado 6-5 in overtime Saturday night.
New Jersey (9-9-4) have lost three straight and have given up a combined 18 goals in those three losses. Moreso, the Devils have won just one of their last six and are 2-6-2 in their last 10 games.
The Devils have been slow out the gates, having scored just 14 first period goals this season, ranking them 28th in the NHL in that category. However, their 30 third period goals are the fifth most. On the other hand, the Sens have just 12 goals in the third, the fewest in the NHL.
Ottawa's power play converts 17.6 per cent of the time and they have man advantage goals in two of its last three games. The Devils have the third worst power play in the NHL at 13.1 per cent.
Ottawa is 2-7-1 away from home this year while New Jersey are 6-4-2 at home.
Roster notes
Victor Mete will return to the lineup in place of Dillon Heatherington who will not play after being in close contact with someone who tested positive for Covid-19. Heatherington has tested negative.
No word on whether Anton Forsberg or Filip Gustavsson will start in goal tonight while there are no changes to the Sens' forward lines.

Tonight is the 100th all-time meeting between the Sens and Devils. In the previous 99 contests, Ottawa is 36-44-14 with five ties and have won 17 times in New Jersey.
As members of the Sens, Connor Brown and Nicholas Paul both have three points in three games against the Devils. Nikita Zaitsev has four assists in 11 games against the Devils while his career +6 against New Jersey is his career best against any opponent.
Who to watch
Tim Stützle had two goals Saturday in the Sens' win over Colorado as he scored his first goal since Nov. 13. It was the second time in his young NHL career he recorded a multi-goal game after his hat-trick on May 8 against Winnipeg.
The German has three goals and 11 points in 22 games this year. He averages 17:38 a night. His six points on the power play are tied for the team lead.
