The Nashville Predators open a three-game home stand by hosting the Colorado Avalanche for the second time this season (at 7 p.m. CT).
Nashville (10-6-2) lost a third-period lead and saw their five-game winning streak come to an end at the hands of the Minnesota Wild on Thursday night. With no changes in injury statuses or call-ups, the Preds are expected to dress the same lineup they've utilized for the past two games.
The Avalanche (9-7-1) are making their second and final trip to Music City; they won their last contest 6-2 over the Washington Capitals, but lost their first visit to Nashville, 4-1, on Oct. 17. Former Preds Colin Wilson, Samuel Girard and Gabriel Bourque could suit up for the Avs, while Vladislav Kamenev was placed on Injured Reserve this week.
Saturday's morning skate was optional for the Preds, here's a projected lineup based on Friday's practice:
Filip Forsberg - Ryan Johansen - Viktor Arvidsson
Kevin Fiala - Kyle Turris - Craig Smith
Miikka Salomaki - Colton Sissons - Calle Jarnkrok
Cody McLeod - Nick Bonino - Austin Watson
Roman Josi - Mattias Ekholm
Alexei Emelin - P.K. Subban
Matt Irwin - Anthony Bitetto
Note: The Predators have not announced a starting goaltender for tonight's game
