Preds Roster Stands at 26 Players Ahead of Thursday Night's Season Opener Against Seattle

Nashville, Tenn. (October 10, 2021) - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today the team has assigned forward Egor Afanasyev and defenseman Jeremy Davies to Milwaukee (AHL).

The Predators' training camp roster is now at 26 players - 15 forwards, eight defensemen and three goaltenders.

Nashville closed out its six-game preseason slate with a 4-1-1 record following Saturday's win over the Carolina Hurricanes. The team now turns it sights toward Thursday's regular-season opener against the Seattle Kraken at Bridgestone Arena. Puck drop on Oct. 14 is set for 7 p.m. CT, and the game will be broadcast live on Bally Sports South and ESPN 102.5 The Game.
