Less than 24 hours after putting up seven goals against the Vancouver Canucks, the Nashville Predators will be back on the ice tonight against the Edmonton Oilers. It's the first of three scheduled meetings between the two clubs this season with Nashville in search of their 10th consecutive win against the Oilers.
Wednesday's game saw the Preds collect at least a point in their fifth consecutive outing and post their 14th win in their last 18 tries. Nashville has now scored at least four goals in 14 of their 30 contests this season.
The Predators got a boost to the lineup on Wednesday, as forwards Ryan Johansen and Scott Hartnell returned from Injured Reserve, leaving defenseman Ryan Ellis as the lone Nashville skater out of the lineup due to injury.
