ushl fall classic

The USHL Fall Classic returns to the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry Township for the second consecutive season, starting on September 27.
The event, which runs through October 2, will feature all 17 USHL franchises competing in a showcase format, providing a unique opportunity for scouts to see future NCAA and NHL talent all in the same facility.

In addition to the USHL Fall Classic, the USHL will host two invitational Tier I (AAA) tournaments, one at the 16U age group and the second at the 14U age group. Both events will feature a number of top teams in the country at each age group, including the Pittsburgh Penguins Elite 16U and 14U teams. These events will run concurrent with the USHL Fall Classic, and scouts from the USHL and NCAA will be in attendance throughout the weekend. Aligning the USHL with the youth events will provide players with an up-close and personal view of the speed, skill and tenacity required to play junior hockey at the highest level in the United States.
All USHL Fall Classic games will take place at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry Township. The youth games will take place at three facilities along the I-79 corridor - the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, Baierl Ice Complex in Warrendale, PA and RMU Island Sports Center on Neville Island.
The event will attract 50 teams with over 1,000 players, more than 250 amateur and professional scouts from the USHL, NCAA and NHL, and thousands of spectators from all over the country.
