Penguins captain Sidney Crosby suffered a lower-body injury in Pittsburgh's 3-2 shootout win against Chicago on Saturday night at PPG Paints Arena.
Crosby left in the third period and there was no immediate update available on his condition.
"He is being evaluated as we speak," Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan told the media following the game. "We'll probably have more information on Monday."
