The Pittsburgh Penguins have activated defenseman Olli Maatta from injured reserve, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Maatta will be a game-time decision for tonight's 7:00 PM home game against the Nashville Predators, per head coach Mike Sullivan.
Maatta has missed the past 21 games since suffering an upper-body injury after absorbing a hit during a 4-1 road victory on February 11 against the Philadelphia Flyers at Wells Fargo Center. Maatta has skated in 55 games this year, producing 13 points (1G-12A) and a plus-7.
The Penguins will take the ice tonight at PPG Paints Arena riding a three-game winning streak, and they are coming off of a four-game road trip where they earned seven of a possible eight points (3-0-1).
