The Pittsburgh Penguins have activated forward Brock McGinn from the NHL's COVID-19 Protocol List, it was announced today by general manager Ron Hextall.

Forward Anthony Angello has been re-assigned to the taxi squad.
The 27-year-old McGinn has tallied nine goals, four assists and 13 points in 33 games this season, which includes four goals over his last eight games played. His nine goals are tied for fourth on the Penguins and his 0.39 points-per-game average is on pace to be a career high.
McGinn has played parts of seven seasons in the NHL split between Pittsburgh and Carolina. In 378 career regular-season games, the 6-foot, 187-pound forward has 60 goals, 59 assists, 119 points and six game-winning goals.
The Penguins return to action tonight at 10:30 PM ET as they visit San Jose to take on the Sharks in the midst of a season-long six-game road trip.
