The Pens are coming off a 5-3 loss to the New York Islanders on Wednesday at Barclays Center. After being down 3-0 heading into the second intermission, Pittsburgh produced an incredible third-period comeback by scoring three goals to tie the game. However, the Islanders struck with 26.6 seconds left in regulation - and added an empty-netter three seconds later to seal the win. … The Pens are 6-0 this year following a regulation loss, and are 15-0-1 in their past 16 regulation setbacks dating back to last season. … This is the first meeting of the year between the Pens and Stars. Pittsburgh is looking to end Dallas' four-game winning streak in the series. … Tonight, defenseman Trevor Daley will play against Dallas for the first time in his career.
