Game Preview: Pens-Bolts

The Penguins are in Tampa Bay to face off against the Lightning in the second half of back-to-back games.

5 NOTES ON THE GAME:

1. The Pens face former teammate Chris Kunitz for the first time. The 38-year-old veteran played 8-plus seasons with the Pens from 2009-17, winning 3 Stanley Cups with the club. He totaled 388 points (169G-219A) in 569 career contests in a Penguin uniform.

2. The Pens power play connected for 3 goals against Washington. Head coach Mike Sullivan switched up personnel with several different looks and it paid off. Pittsburgh's PK units have killed of 17 straight.

3. Antti Niemi is expected to make his 2nd career start for Pittsburgh. He surrendered 4 goals on 13 shots in 9:16 against Chicago. Niemi is looking to bounce back tonight.

4. Bolts' second-year forward Brayden Point leads the team in both goals (3-tied) and points (7). He scored the overtime winner, off of his knee, against Washington in Tampa's previous game.

5. Lethal center Steven Stamkos is still looking for his 1st goal of the season, though he does pace the club with 5 helpers.
