Dunkin and the Pittsburgh Penguins have teamed up to provide free donuts to Philips employees and FedEx Ground staff and service provider drivers- two essential groups working hard to assist our community during the coronavirus pandemic.

Dunkin' and its local franchisee, Heartland Restaurant Group, delivered more than 100 dozen donuts to four locations this morning.
Penguins broadcaster and two-time Stanley Cup champion Phil Bourque chipped in by purchasing boxes of coffee for the workers.
"Dunkin' wanted to provide a donut, a smile, and a thank-you to people here in our community who are helping to keep us moving during this unprecedented time," said Anthony Braun, COO and CFO of the Heartland Restaurant Group. "We looked to our partners at the Pittsburgh Penguins for suggestions. They immediately recommended FedEx Ground and Philips."

Philips has been mobilizing its regional workforce to ramp up ventilator production and distribution to support growing numbers of COVID-19 patients worldwide, while FedEx Ground staff and service provider drivers continue to ensure essential goods are delivered to homes and businesses throughout the region. Dunkin' and FedEx Ground are both Penguins' corporate partners.
"As a Dunkin' franchisee, it's part of our DNA to give back to the community," Braun said. "However, during the current crisis, we want to make sure that, as an organization, we recognize the people who are going above and beyond for our community."
Donut deliveries were made to three Philips locations and one FedEx Ground location.
